K- Primary colors, lines, shapes, Pumpkins, drawing humans, print making with cardboard and cookie cutters 1st- The Line Family, leafs, shapes, primary and secondary colors, 2nd- Autumn Landscapes, Vincent Van Gogh's Starry Night, Leafs and lines, 3rd- Vincent Van Gogh Autumn Landscape, Warm & Cool Leaves 4th- Watercolor Birch Trees, Autumn Landscape Collage, 5th- Color Theory Tree, Rule of Thirds Candy Grid Drawing, Tin Foil Low Relief All Artists- Hopes & Dreams Mural What's Next - Clay (1st-5th grade) Spinning tops1st-3rd grade students created these amazing spinning tops out of recycled materials! We used cds, marker caps, marbles, paper, glue sticks, and markers to create our tops. Mrs. George used a hot glue gun to attach the marker cap and the marble. Students also learned about radial symmetry and created a design for their spinning top using radial symmetry. They all loved watching their tops spin on the floor when they finished their work!
