Welcome back! Kindergarteners have been studying shapes, lines, and primary colors. They created a mural in the style of Wassily Kandinsky's Concentric Circles. 2nd and 3rd graders have also been busy creating Artist Trading Cards (or ATCs) with a nature theme. ATCs are miniature works of art about the same size as modern trading cards or baseball cards. They are all 2 1⁄2 by 3 1⁄2 inches. Artists can trade their cards with others, give them away, or keep them for themselves. ATCs are becoming very popular in art classes all around the country! |
