5th Grade- This month 5th graders learned about and created their own Zentangles. Zentangles are easy-to-learn, relaxing, and a fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. Drawing Zentangles help increase focus and creativity, provides artistic satisfaction along with an increased sense of personal well being. 5th graders also learned a little about perspective when they drew spooky landscapes. Kindergarten- Kindergarteners continued learning about the primary colors as they mixed them to create secondary colors for their pumpkins at night painting. Don't they look great?!? 1st Grade- 1st graders finished a project on line. They learned about an artist named Joan Miro and used some symbols similar to what he used in his paintings. They learned a new technique- wet-on-wet watercolor painting and really enjoyed it! |
