5th graders have been busy learning about color theory as well as shading. Students created Fall or Spring Trees with warm and cool colors. They practiced shading to create interesting shapes and forms. I especially love the shape project! Each piece turned out so lovely- students created a shape out of manilla paper then repeated the same shape across their page. On another project students created colorful backgrounds to contrast against their graphite shaded forms. |
